Best Cars For Bad Credit Customers
Top Cars For A $10,000 to $12,000 Loan
Since so many bad credit auto loans are in the $10,000 to $12,000 range, we've been researching the bargains in that price range. This page looks at what's going on with new cars; used car bargains are here.
Chevy: Here's the secret on Chevys. Most 2010s and 2009s are identical, yet the 09s are being priced to move. GM is shutting down Saturn and Pontiac, which brings up some bargains -- the Pontiac Vibe (same as a Toyota Matrix) or Saturn Aura (nearly identical to the Chevy Malibu).
Honda: An amazing lease deal on their Prius-lookalike (the Insight). It's the cheapest hybrid on the market (around $20K) and you can lease one for $2800 down and $199 a month for 36 months. Please note that a lot of Honda deals require good credit.
Chrysler: Bad news for a manufacturer is good news for you. This company got the least lift from cash for clunkers, which means dealers are desperate and willing to bargain. More importantly, very few 2010 models are serious upgrades over 09s.
